Help End Child Labor Practices in Africa's Cobalt Mines!
For my Global Leadership Institute Capstone, I'm working on a research project aimed at ending the labor crisis in the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC), and now I want to take action. The DRC is home to over 70% of the world’s cobalt supply, a mineral essential for electric vehicle and cell phone batteries. Yet, the mining industry is plagued by dangerous working conditions, child labor, and exploitation, as miners—many of them children—work in unsafe pits for minimal wages to extract the cobalt that powers our technology.
To make a real impact, I’m raising funds to support Pact, a nonprofit working on the ground in the DRC to improve mining conditions, eliminate child labor, and empower communities through ethical and sustainable solutions. Every dollar raised will go directly to Pact to help create lasting change.
Join me in making a difference—let’s stand together for ethical labor practices and a more responsible supply chain.
Any donation, big or small, helps move this mission forward.
Thank you for your support!
