Help EMT Justin Cupples Recover After Head-On Collision

Donation protected
My name is Scott Storey, and I'm raising funds for my friend Justin Cupples, the son of Danny Cupples. Like his father, Justin proudly works as an Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) with First Call EMS, dedicating his life to helping others in their most critical moments.

On March 21, 2026, Justin was involved in a head-on collision. He was immediately LifeFlighted to Vanderbilt University Medical Center and admitted to the Trauma ICU. Justin sustained a large scalp wound, a liver laceration, and other soft tissue injuries. After receiving excellent care at Vanderbilt, he is now recovering at home while staying with his parents.

As a first responder himself, Justin knows the importance of quick action—but right now, he’s the one who needs support. He is unable to work during his recovery, which means lost wages at a time when medical bills are starting to pile up. While he has insurance, it may not cover everything, and the family is facing costs for ongoing medical care, daily needs, medications, and transportation to follow-up appointments.

Justin has always been the one to help strangers in his EMS work. Now, our community has the chance to rally around him and his family. Any donation—large or small—will go directly toward:

Remaining medical bills from Vanderbilt and future treatments
Daily living expenses and household needs while he can't work
Medications and supplies during recovery
Any additional costs related to his injuries
Even if you can't donate, please share this page and send prayers or positive thoughts to Justin and the Cupples family. Your support means Justin can focus on healing and getting back to the job he loves, making a difference in other people's lives without the added stress of financial burden.

Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for any help, shares, or kind words. We will post regular updates on Justin’s progress.

With gratitude,
Scott Storey
