On December 27th, 2023, Jacob Daniel Byers (30 years old) suffered a catastrophic seizure that led to Cardiac Arrest. Following, a two weeklong coma with a diagnosis of anoxic brain injury. His major organs have taken on extreme distress, and he requires constant ventilator support. Jacob has remained in the ICU since. He is fighting for his life, and he is in need of better healthcare for his life which is a true testimony of God's will, love, and grace.
Jacob has been transferred to a Neuro ICU where he can get further examinations of his brain injuries. The new hospital we got him transferred to has means to conduct the proper tests, trials, and treatment plans for his condition.
On top of daunting medical costs that already Surpass our fundraising goal of 50,000 we would like to raise as much as we can but we understand that not everybody is able to donate If that’s the case, please don’t forget to pray And ask god for his divine healing power to fall on Jacob so that he can be a father again. 50% of all donations are going to Jacob‘s daughter Lily In a separate savings account that occurs interest.
Jacob’s daughter is the center of his world and the light within-side of him and Jacob would’ve given anything for her if he could. He is a great father.
Jacob is in desperate need of more intensive care neurologically. He will also needs therapy to continue re learning how to live his life. He will need to be transferred to a recovery rehab/facility once his organs and independent breathing are stabilized. We have chosen the Shepherd Center as the place where we want him to go. The shepherd center has a 90% success rate and they have tailored options for every single patient who has different problems going on.
Jacob is still fighting daily to survive his diagnosis is guarded so there is a huge unknown and a very high risk on what Jacob's recovery may look like long term.
The Byers family believe’s that God is in control here and trust in him. Jacob needed neurological specialists, kidney and liver specialists, physical therapists, legal representatives, and donors such as yourself. Please join us in this fight call #TEAMJACOB!
Jacob had his beautiful daughter Lily at the age 19 in addition of being a great loving father he Was also her sole provider and caretaker for most of her young childhood. His entire world exists around his daughter Lily. That’s why we would like to take half of everyone’s donations to put away for Lily’s future that’s what Jacob would want. He would probably say give her all of it but he is medically incapable of making his own decisions right now.
Jacob is also a son to his loving mother Leann who has been so strong and courageous throughout this whole thing. Jacob is also a brother four siblings starting with the oldest his late sister Alyssa Byers, Nicole Byers, Jessica Byers and Matthew Byers.
Jacob is also a grandson, uncle, nephew, and friend to anyone who has ever known him and we are reaching out to all of you to help support Jacob and Lily in this road to redemption.
The love of his life is Jacob’s daughter Lily all of Jacob‘s music, a lot of his poetry and everything he thinks about evolves around his daughter Lily. Jacob would have given anything in the world for her at any given time and she needs him just as bad as he needs her that’s why we need your help so please pray for Jacob and please help by donating whatever it is that you can afford too.
Jacob also loves creating art, and music He has created over 300 different songs and 75% of his music is based on his love for his daughter Lily who he adores so much. Jacob is an incredibly talented artistic musician who sings, writes, raps, and plays several instruments. When Jacob was 12 years old his brother Matt gave him his all white pearl export series drum set and man let me tell you he can play! Jacobs favorite instrument was those drums and trust me when I tell you he is good. Jacob has always been a loving person, spreading kindness everywhere he goes. He has never known or judged a stranger. His talents and strengths have been a light that has given strength to so many people.
The Byers family has lost quite a few loved ones in past years and it has been very traumatic on all of us and Jacob is alive still and there’s a chance that we can help save him because I don’t know if the we can handle losing another family member right now.
This whole thing has been very traumatic and Jacob’s Brain injury has made him a very high risk patient. No one should ever have to see their cherished loved ones lying in a hospital bed under these conditions. This is why we need your financial support in this fight to help Jay and to help put money away for his daughter Lilly’s future because that’s what Jacob would do for any of us .

For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.
We Believe that God has has a plan, and that plan is good because God is good, and within ourselves is God’s goodness, and it is our duty as God‘s creations to maintain in our lives, the fruits of God’s spirit for our heavenly father and to spread the good news of Jesus and love one another so that God‘s spirit can dwell inside of us allways and we find obtain redemption by our redeemer Jesus Christ

Originally, we did not know exactly what the outcome was going to be for Jacob. His prognosis was guarded, but now that we have a better understanding of what he’s going through and what his condition entails we are starting to figure out exactly what the money that we get from you guys needs to go to we want Jacob to go to the shepherd center. It’s gonna be expensive and we got mounting up medical bills just stacking already from the time he was first admitted to the hospital till now it’s a lot insurance is not covering everything on top of everything else the nursing home that he’s in is outdated and kind of dingy so we want him to go to the shepherd center where they have a neurological rehabilitation center and they focus on brain activity, and Brian Reconditioning The Shepherd Center has a 90% success rate so we’re trying to get enough money so we can obtain a referral. This is what the money is gonna go to That, and the medical bills that he obtains before he goes to the shepherd center whatever’s left over that we don’t use for medical bills is going into a fund for his daughter after the medical bills are paid.
