Support Tina & Her Daughters' Path to Safety and Stability

Three days before Christmas 2024, Tina and her 3 daughters faced a traumatic event that ended in the Emergency Room. Tina's ex-husband, and the father of her three girls, was arrested on Christmas Eve in connection with an incident involving felony child abuse. Tina and the 3 girls obtained restraining orders against him. Now, Tina is shouldering significant life and legal expenses to secure safety and stability for her family.
Over the past few years, she has overcome immense challenges: a prolonged divorce process that lasted 2.5 years and drained her financially, leaving her with no alimony or of their joint finances, child support, housing, or possessions. Despite these hardships, Tina quickly transitioned from being a homeschool mom to a full-time nurse, balancing her career with raising her daughters as a single parent. She was rebuilding her life, having purchased her own vehicle and moved into her own apartment. Tina's progress was further set back when Hurricanes Milton and Helene flooded her car. Unable to afford flood insurance, she faced additional financial hardships. Losing reliable transportation disrupted her ability to work and care for her 3 daughters, further compounding her challenges and debt.
Tina's resilience shines as she continues to grow and rebuild. She is currently pursuing her Bachelor's in Nursing after years of working in the NICU, PICU, and Labor and Delivery. She dreams of becoming a Midwife. However, the financial strain of mounting legal fees and financial hardships threatens her progress. Due to the nature of the current cases, details can only be provided on a direct basis.
This campaign is managed by several close friends here in Minnesota, including myself, Taften Bilbaugh. I've been best friends with Tina for over 25 years and have witnessed her incredible strength and dedication. We are committed to helping Tina and her daughters through this challenging time.
Your contributions will directly support legal fees, essential living expenses, and help ensure Tina and her 3 daughters can move toward a future of peace, safety, and stability. A detailed breakdown of expenses can be provided directly to anyone who inquires. Funds will be deposited into Tina's account in Florida and will be used to pay back lenders from the divorce and vehicle, cover rent, food, housing, her current car payment, and schooling expenses. Tina is in the process of securing new employment, and these funds will help her stay afloat until she begins this next chapter of her life.
