Hi, My name is Scott and I am starting this fund raiser to help a good friend of mine beat cancer and the high costs associated with treating it!

Emory has already had a kidney removed because of cancer, and has just received a diagnosis of Renal Cell Carcinoma in his ribs. He is considered stage 4, but there is hope! His prognosis is good because they caught it early. He will be starting Radiation Therapy and then follow up with Immunotherapy, but it's going to be a tough road, physically and financially.

Emory is a great guy, an excellent father and a loving and faithful husband. I have known him since we were in middle school together, and I can tell you that he is well deserving of any help you care to give. He would do the same for anyone else if he could.

Emory has insurance, but the co-pays and catastrophic cap are high, and he is still paying for the first fight with his kidney! So, starting this fund will help take the stress out of trying to figure out how to pay those monstrous medical bills.
