Hi everyone, thanks for taking a moment to read our story.. Emmy Lou is my perfectly sweet 13 year old long haired dachshund. I adopted her from the SPCA in California when she was 6 years old and she’s been fully attached to my hip ever since! She’s always by my side, even helping me with my dog walking business as the gentle leader of the pack- all the dogs adore and respect her! She loves camping, rolling around on the beach, sleeping in until noon, screaming at squirrels, and demanding (more) love and attention. She’s been the greatest companion I’ve ever known.

Yesterday afternoon, Emmy Lou had a sudden neurological attack with no previous signs or warnings. I rushed her to the emergency room where the vet recommended an MRI scan from a specialist due to concerns of a brain tumor or possible stroke. The news was overwhelming and so scary.. I want to do everything I can to give her the best chance at recovery. The funds raised will help me cover a portion of the costs for the following: The MRI, medications, and any surgery she may need. Your support will help Emmy get the care she needs so she can continue enjoying her favorite adventures.
