We’re seeking donations from everyone who loves Emmett to help manifest his dream of moving back to New Orleans.
As you know, things haven’t been easy in California. Years of exceedingly high rent & under-employment have led to a situation where he needs a little extra help to afford the trip home! Law school did not open the opportunities he’d hoped for, and after 3 years of trying, it’s time to move back. He already has leads on work in New Orleans. All he needs to do is get there!
Even though he's grown and made some lasting connections in California, he misses the bonds, the social life, the sense of inclusivity and helping each other that is built into the fabric of New Orleans. He misses carefree days biking around town, connecting with friends in backyards and neighborhood bars, going to dinner parties and street festivals. For you NOLA people reading this, he misses YOU!!
Your support will mean SO MUCH to Emmett as he navigates this important transition. It will help improve his quality of life, happiness, and sense of well-being.

Fuel to New Orleans: $250
Motels for 3 nights: $400
Meals for 4 days: $200
Shipping costs: $100
1st month's rent: $1075
