Help Emma's Heart: Urgent Surgery Funds

Hello! I created this GoFund Me in order to raise awareness and funds for my beautiful niece Emma.

This is Emma, the rainbow child that we were all hoping and praying for.

Emma was born February 12th 2023 in Mexico and spent the first six months of her life in the NICU, and was sent home with numerous medications to take daily.

Emma has 2 heart murmurs and is in desperate need of heart surgery to close them. Her little heart is pumping overtime to get her little body enough oxygen to survive. Any overexertion (even crying!) and it feels as if our little Emma has just ran a marathon.

Emma is too weak to fly, which means that we can not bring her to the U.S. to have doctors preform surgery here. Doctors in Mexico have quoted us 1.6 million Mexican pesos, which converts to over 86,000 USD to give her the care she desperately needs.

We were not sure if Emma would make it out of the hospital when she was born, and now, we desperately want to make sure that she is able to get the care that every child should be able to get.
