this GoFundMe is for my brother, sister-in-law and their family. My 4 yr. old niece Emma was born with a congenital heart defect. She had her first open heart surgery when she was 6 days old. Since she was born she’s had a couple different heart surgeries and various procedures. Emma is scheduled to have her next and hopefully last open heart surgery JUNE 16th. This is called the Fontan. The Fontan procedure is surgery designed to redirect blood flow in individuals with a single functional ventricle in the heart. Emma is such a brave girl and whenever you need a smile she’s your girl, always smiling & giggling. She is loved so much by all her family.

My brother and sister-in-law will have to be off of work for quite a while during Emma‘s recovery. They have to travel back and forth 3 hours to Omaha for surgery, medical visits, and any follow up that Emma might need.

Hoping to ease their financial stress due to medical expenses not covered by insurance, care and expenses for their 2 other kiddos, travel, mortgage, & everyday expenses during this difficult time, etc.
