Help Emma's Cat Kiki Bobby Heal
Donation protected
Kiki Bobby is a 2 year old “foster fail” owned by 7 year old Emma. He is a really cool cat with hunting abilities that would rival a bobcat and social abilities that can win over any grown human... even some strictly dog people like me. He was run over on Thursday morning at his house, and his left hind leg is badly broken. With me being the driver of the vehicle I feel immensely guilty for this accident even though it could’ve happened to anyone. The TAMU orthopedics team has given the family a really, REALLY high estimate for surgical stabilization, and I’m hoping to raise as much as I can to help make this decision easier for Emma’s parents. He’s a very sweet and loving cat who is adored by the sweetest little girl who had to witness the whole thing.
Brief case summary:
Kiki Bobby presented to TAMU Emergency Service on
6/20/2025 for evaluation of a left tibia-fibula fracture following accidental vehicular trauma the previous day. He was initially seen and splinted by his primary veterinarian where they performed radiographs and confirmed his fracture, prescribed oral pain medications, and recommended transfer to TAMU Orthopedics for further fracture stabilization.
On presentation, Kiki was quiet, alert, responsive, and gentle when handled especially considering the injury.
Left tibial radiographs revealed a closed fracture of the left tibia and fibular with comminution, fissures and spiral pathology.
