Help Emmanuel's Family with Funeral Costs

Our long-time friend Emmanuel Solomon passed away this Saturday. He had spent a week in a coma after a tragic swimming pool accident two weeks ago. He was 13 and leaves behind two sisters, three, brothers and his parents. He was the core of his family, always looking out for his younger sisters and brothers. This continues to be a confusing time for his family and young siblings as they navigate the American hospitals, healthcare, and funeral rituals. His family are refugees from Uganda and are loved in our community. Emmanuel attended the NC4Y and Mission Adelante youth groups and some of his favorite activities were soccer, helping people, singing and dancing in his church choir, and serving the community with his friends. His future goals were to become a teacher and a doctor. He was always a positive and loving person who loved to serve the community with his friends - we are going to miss him!

The funeral home will not allow a funeral unless the money is paid up front. Please join with us and our community to come around the Solomon family with love and support in this tragic time. Please join us in praying for the family and also donating to help them cover the costs of the funeral, medical bills, time off work, and other food and expenses from these past weeks.
