Hello, My name is victoria! My mom Emmanuelle has been saving up to visit France for years now, so we can visit her home country and see some family she and I have not seen in almost a decade (And some family I have never met!)

Unfortunately, just this week she was hit by a large amount of unexpected medical bills due to a sick pet (around $1000)and a severe case of Gastritis that required an ER visit (Costing over $2000 out-of-pocket).

While even in normal circumstances, this bill would cripple our finances, it now also means we will not be able to visit France unless my mom takes out another loan on her 401k. I have sent her about $1000 to help with some of the bills but we really need help to pay for all of this. I hate asking for money and I do not expect this to reach full funding because we are not very well socially connected, but we are desperate. This trip to france is very important to us and I really do not want my mom to be in any more debt or to hurt her retirement.

Any money from this would ONLY go towards medical bills and would NOT be used for our trip to france.
