Dear Friends,
My name is Peter Oseji, and I am making a passionate appeal to you on behalf of my father, Emmanuel Oseji.
We are reaching out with heavy hearts to seek your support for Emmanuel, a kind and gentle 70-year-old man who was enjoying a long-awaited vacation in Aberdeen when an unforeseen event struck. During what should have been a joyful time, Emmanuel suffered a severe stroke, leaving him hospitalized and in need of urgent medical attention.
Emmanuel is far from his home in Nigeria, and the cost of his treatment in Aberdeen has quickly become overwhelming. As a visitor, he does not have access to public healthcare, and his medical bills have been mounting daily. On top of this, Emmanuel's condition requires specialized care, which we aim to provide once he returns to Nigeria, closer to his family and support system.
We are raising funds to:
Cover his medical expenses in Aberdeen, including hospital stays, treatments, and rehabilitation services in Aberdeen Royal Infirmary (ARI) for the past two months, which is currently about £6,000.
Arrange for his safe transport back to Nigeria, including a medical escort to ensure his stability during the journey. The cost of medical repatriation due to his current health condition, which includes medical escort, is £4,334.
Support his continued treatment in Nigeria, where his recovery can be better managed near loved ones. This will be a continuous cost estimated at £2,000 monthly.
Emmanuel is a beloved father, grandfather, and friend who has always shown kindness to everyone around him. Now, he needs our help. Your contributions, no matter the size, will go a long way in helping him receive the care he needs and return home to his family.
If you are unable to contribute financially, sharing this campaign with your friends and networks would mean the world to us. Every bit of support brings us closer to giving Emmanuel a fighting chance to recover.
From the bottom of our hearts, we thank you for your generosity and prayers during this challenging time.
Warm regards,
Peter Oseji
