Help Emmalin get a Service Dog
Donation protected
Hi, I'm Brenda and my great niece, Emmalin needs a Service Dog. A service dog by definition is a task trained dog, trained for one or more tasks to help mitigate a persons' disability. There's "Emotional support" dogs which are just pets trained with obedience training and do just that...provide specific emotional support for their owner. "Therapy dogs" are dogs who go with their owners to volunteer in settings such as schools, hospitals, and nursing homes, and their owners work together as a team to improve the lives of other people. "Service dogs" have a detailed amount of training which is needed or used for specific problems they are trained to alert for or need to do in order to assisttheowner.
Here's Emmalin's story...when she was just 2 1/2 she was diagnosed with a brain tumor. Surgery (and treatments) eventually caused scaring which are causing Seizures. She could benefit from having a Service Dog, trained to alert for her Seizures. They're expensive, as most people know. Would you, please donate to her gofundme to help her get one?
