Help Emmalee Achieve Her Dance Dreams

Donation protected
Emmalee Kinzel (also known as Emm) has finished up her home schooling and gotten her HiSET diploma two years early. She arranged to do the work to graduate from seminary early and has enrolled in CLI Conservatory in Southhampton Massachusetts. She is our granddaughter and the third child of April and Josh Kinzel's six children. Many of you in the Bitterroot Valley know that April is the manager of the Stevensville Groovz Studio. She has enjoyed her many years working and serving the many talented youth and adults in this community. That includes her daughters. (Michelle Post is the owner of both Studios). Josh is a well-respected self-employed mechanic in Stevensville.

Besides learning dance at the Groovz Studio, Emm also instructed many adult and youth classes and is using that money to help pay for her schooling. At the last dance held on the 5th of June she is listed as a dancer in 11 dances and as the choreographer of 19 of the 43 dances. Her students love her and became emotional when they learned she was leaving after the last dance.

Emmalee received a scholarship for 10% of tuition on early enrollment because of her talent and devotion to dance, she has a dream of attending this school in a ten-month course to advance her dream to use her talent in any way she desires to serve and entertain in a field she loves and excels at. The cost of the school tuition is $28,000. Through her hard work and very generous donations from dear friends she has collected $19,000. She has used her other talents in making clothing and jewelry and crafts and selling them at craft fair events from here to Missoula. Those that know her understand the depths of her talents as well as her trustworthiness and her attention to detail.

As you can imagine, after tuition is paid there are a host of other things she needs to be able to attend this school including room and board as well as traveling expenses to and from Massachusetts and to and from school with a little extra to see the sites while attending the school.

Emmalee has won many awards for her dancing and her choreography. Here are a few:

*She received a $500 scholarship at age 13 from Montana Dance Art Association
*The Vicky Sheer award 2023
*Miss Sheer Teen Title winner 2023
*Miss Sheer Senior Title winner 2024
*She won the emerging choreographer challenge contest at RMDC for the last 2 years
*she received a full scholarship for Bates Dance festival summer intensive from RMDC 2024
*plus many other awards and scholarships from competitions that she participated in.

No student loans are available for this school. So, we ask you all to consider what you can do to help this talented Stevensville, Montana young woman reach her dreams. Thank you in advance.
