Hi everyone, my name is Emma Estrada, and I’m raising funds to help make a once in a lifetime study abroad opportunity possible.

I’ve worked hard in school since elementary school, consistently earning top grades and receiving academic recognition along the way. When it came time for college, I was accepted into one of the top universities in Texas, and through years of dedication, I’ve been able to cover my tuition, housing, and living expenses almost entirely through scholarships. As a first-generation college student, this has been one of my proudest accomplishments.

Recently, I expanded my ambitions, as I often do, and applied to a study abroad program in Paris, France. I was accepted into the Global Challenges in Europe program, where I would study government and economics through an international lens while learning directly from Europe’s political, economic, and cultural landscape. As someone who has never traveled outside of the United States, this opportunity would be truly transformative, both academically and personally.

Unfortunately, while my dreams have grown, my bank account hasn’t quite caught up. The cost of participating in this program is the one thing standing in my way. I’m asking for support from my family and family friends to help cover study abroad expenses so I can take full advantage of this opportunity. Any contribution, no matter the size, would mean the world to me and would directly help me continue pursuing the education I’ve worked so hard for.
