Help Emma Represent Her School in London: A Dream Come True!
Donation protected
Hi, my name is Emma, and I’m 12 years old. Thank you so much for taking a moment to read my story—it really means so much to me.
I have some amazing news to share! I’ve been chosen to represent my school at the Round Square Conference 2025 at Milton Abbey in London, England. Out of more than 100 students in my school who applied, only 12 students were selected—and I’m so proud to be one of them! Learn More About The Conference Here
This is my second time being chosen for this incredible opportunity, but last year, I wasn’t able to attend because of financial challenges. It was so disappointing, but I didn’t let that stop me. I applied again this year, knowing it might still be hard, because I didn’t want to give up on this dream. This will be my last chance to go because of age restrictions, and I truly hope this is the year I get to make it happen.
For those who don’t know me, let me tell you a little about myself. I’m a dedicated student and have straight A’s in all my classes. I’m also part of my school’s hockey team and love spending time with my friends. One of the things I’m most excited about for this trip is meeting students from all over the world—learning about their cultures, sharing experiences, and building friendships. My mom says this will help me grow as a person and see the world beyond our small bubble here in Lima, Peru, and I know she’s right. This trip would be so much more than a travel experience—it’s a chance to learn, connect, and see the world in ways I’ve only dreamed of.
I know this is a big dream, and I can’t do it alone. That’s why I’m asking for your support. Whether it’s a small or large contribution, every bit will bring me closer to London and this once-in-a-lifetime experience.
Thank you from the bottom of my heart for being part of my journey. Your belief in me means everything, and I promise I’ll make the most of this incredible opportunity.
Sincerely yours,
Emma
A Note From Balli (Emma´s proud mom)
I would like to begin by telling all of you how much I trust and appreciate you and how thankful I am to you for reading this. I am only doing this among close friends and family.
Being selected for this program (twice in a row!) is no small feat. Emma has worked tirelessly to earn her place in this group. She’s a brilliant student, an amazing daughter, and a friend who’s always there for others. I had to disappoint her once last year, when due to financial issues we had to turn this opportunity down, but this time I thought we might ask for some support from loved ones, and here we are.
While asking for help is very hard for me, I am determined to help make this dream come true for her, both with hard work and also, to quote the amazing Beatles, “with a little help from my friends”. I also believe that it teaches her a valuable lesson about solidarity, resilience, and not giving up when times are tough.
Your support, big or small, will make a tremendous difference. I will be using these funds to help contribute to the the cost of the conference (1800 USD$) as well as air fare from Lima to London (About 1200 USD$) and money for her stay (300-500 USD$).
Thank you for being part of this journey, for believing in Emma, and for helping us give her this life-changing experience. I love you all!
