Emma is a gift from God and my entire world. We share a deep, unbreakable bond — she is my constant companion, my emotional support, and my life. Emma is a 9-year-old Pomeranian. She was diagnosed with a small mammary tumor, and I acted immediately to have it surgically removed. The surgery was successful. However, after the surgery, Emma began experiencing serious breathing difficulties, with forced and labored respiration that was not normal for her. She was taken to the clinic, where doctors found fluid in her lungs that needed to be drained urgently. The fluid was tested and came back negative for cancer, and her bloodwork showed she was otherwise healthy. Despite this, X-rays revealed lung nodules, and multiple veterinarians stated that based on the X-rays, the cancer was considered confirmed. Because of this, I was told that euthanasia was the best option. However, Emma is still alive, eating, playing, and showing a strong will to live. After the fluid was drained, her breathing improved, although it remains slightly labored. Emma wants to keep fighting — and I am not ready to give up on her. I am seeking additional exams, further testing, and treatment options to give her more time and quality of life. Veterinary diagnostics, care, and treatments have become extremely costly, and I humbly ask for any support, even a small contribution, to help us continue this fight. Emma es una Pomeranian de 9 años. Fue diagnosticada con un pequeño tumor mamario, y actué de inmediato para que pudiera ser operada. La cirugía fue exitosa. Sin embargo, después de la cirugía, Emma comenzó a presentar dificultades respiratorias severas, con una respiración forzada que no era normal en ella.

Fue llevada a la clínica, donde los médicos encontraron líquido en sus pulmones, el cual necesitó ser drenado de urgencia. El líquido fue analizado y el resultado fue negativo para cáncer, y sus exámenes de sangre indicaron que, por lo demás, su cuerpo estaba sano.

A pesar de esto, las radiografías mostraron nódulos en los pulmones, y varios veterinarios afirmaron que basándose en las radiografías, el cáncer se consideraba confirmado. Debido a esto, me dijeron que la eutanasia era la mejor opción.

Sin embargo, Emma sigue viva, comiendo, jugando y demostrando una fuerte voluntad de vivir. Después del drenaje del líquido, su respiración mejoró, aunque aún se mantiene un poco forzada. Emma quiere seguir luchando, y yo no estoy lista para rendirme con ella.

Estoy buscando más exámenes, más pruebas y opciones de tratamiento para darle más tiempo y calidad de vida. Los costos de diagnósticos, atención veterinaria y tratamientos se han vuelto muy altos, y hoy les pido humildemente cualquier ayuda, incluso un pequeño aporte, para poder continuar esta lucha.
