Please help Emma with medical and seizure expenses

Three years ago, Emma, our youngest daughter, had a grand mal seizure during her first week of her freshman year in high school. It was the worst call I have ever received from my wife, Cadee Ann, explaining to me they were rushing our lifeless daughter to the hospital. When I arrived at the hospital, I saw the paramedics rolling our daughter into the ER. Our family life changed in an instant, learning to deal with seizures has become our new normal.

Now, after three years of struggling with epilepsy, Emma has to takes multiple medications in the morning and at night to keep the seisures at a minimun. Of course we never know when or where the seizures are going to occur or how often it can happen...a week, 2 weeks, a month, or 5 months. After each episode, due to exhausted she needs rest and be homebound for the rest of the day.

Emma will soon be 18 at the end of October, but she has not been able to get her driver's license due to not being seizure-free for 6 months. She was currently 5 months and 2 weeks, and we prayed that she would make it to 6 months. But at the end of September she had 3 seizures in one week. Emma has never had that many happen in one week before. After many conversations with the doctor, Emma now has an appointment in New Orleans for a 72-hour EEG.

The purpose of this GoFundMe is to pay for expenses not covered by insurance as we go to Ochsner in New Orleans as well as to help pay for future medical expenses that have already been scheduled due to other health issues. Any donation is appreciated no matter the amount, together we can help Emma get the medical assistance she needs. Next year she will have to have surgery for dental implants 5k each

Our family trust that the Lord will continue to provide for Emma as He has done throughout her life. His hand has guided our family through this difficult time and we believe He will continue to do so. Our God is mighty and all powerful and will do great things with our sweet Emma.

Emma's life verses are Jeremiah 29:11-13, " For I know the plans I have for you," declares the Lord, "plans to give you hope and a future. Then you will call upon me and come and pray to me, and I will hear you. You will seek me and find me."
