My name is Ashly Leaf and I work with Emma Mora. Emma has worked as a bilingual secretary at Los Molinos Elementary school for 15 years. Recently, Emma was diagnosed with breast cancer. This is devastating news for anyone. Emma has exhausted all of her sick leave and vacation time. This is just the beginning of a long journey for her and her family. Emma will have surgery in early March and be out of work for at least four to six weeks. After surgery Emma does not know what the future holds for her.

Emma has 6 children and several grandchildren. Currently Emma still has a kid she is raising at home, on her own. Emma is a beautiful person who has touched so many lives at LME and in her community.

The money raised will go towards helping Emma get to and from doctors appointments, time she needs to take off for surgery, possible chemo, and any extended visits near and far.
