Help Emma and her family with medical bills
Donation protected
Hi, my name is Sandy, and my beautiful 10-year-old granddaughter Emma has been having trouble with migraines and vomiting over the past several months. She was just diagnosed this past Friday with a large cancerous brain mass. She underwent a grueling 12-hour surgery on Monday, where they removed 90% of the mass. We are now waiting for the biopsy results so the oncologists will know precisely how to proceed. She is currently in the children's hospital three days post-surgery, waiting to be well enough to be released. She will have at least a two-week recuperative period until any chemotherapy begins.
We are thankful that she made it through the surgery as well as she did but know that she is facing months if not years of continuing care. Emma's family is a one-income family with limited insurance coverage, and they will need to rely on assistance from others to get through this devastating situation.
Emma is the sweetest, most intelligent, loving little girl and is the best big sister to Camila (4) and James (1 yr, 4 mos). She excels at school, loves to read and do school projects with her daddy and Grandpa. She was recently accepted into her school's Space Camp program and is anxious to continue with that and see it through to completion.
Any help you can provide would be so greatly appreciated. No amount is too small. God Bless!
