My name is Emily and our family is on the verge of eviction in just a couple of days due to my sons father Malcom unexpectedly suffering a tooth abscess and infection that led into his neck. This then led to emergency dental surgery to extract 5 teeth and a drain on the outside of his neck until the infection stopped. He’s recovering now and should be back to his normal self in the next two weeks. He’s already been off work for two weeks due to the pain from the abscess and then the week he was in the hospital. I’ve also had to take off work as he can’t tend to our 20-month-old son, and we have no other means for a babysitter. This has put a major financial burden on our little family that we were not prepared for.

Malcom is an amazing father and partner that didn’t deserve to suffer and doesn’t deserve to see his family suffer. I’m not aiming for much, just enough to help us during this difficult time as our rent is about to be past due and it’s $1000. We had just paid all utilities right before this happened, thankfully.
