Unfortunately, right before the holidays, what seems to be the worst thing that can happen, happened. This morning around 5:30am, my house caught on fire, making it unlivable. My family and I, including my 5-year-old and 2-year-old, had to evacuate and relocate with the help of my property manager. We’ve been placed in a temporary, empty, one-bedroom apartment with none of our personal belongings—clothes, shoes, diapers, beds, hygiene items, food, and more. Everything went with the house, and now we’re trying to figure out where to go and what to do from here.

I am making this GoFundMe to be able to put some necessities into our temporary home so my kids can get comfortable until we figure everything out. I’m not asking for much; all different kinds of support go a long way. I pray God grants us the strength to prevail and the trust that this is not the worst. I thank God for getting us out safely, and I thank everyone who can help and support me and my family during this very tragic time.
