Dear Friends, Family, and Kindhearted Supporters,

First and foremost, thank you so much for the outpouring of love, prayers, and generous donations we’ve received over the past months. Your support has meant the world to Emilyn and her family. Because of your help, we were able to cover a significant portion of her initial treatments and transportation costs, and your encouragement has given them strength during the darkest moments.

However, we are heartbroken to share that Emilyn’s battle has taken a devastating turn.

After the successful operation and going through rehabilitation, Emilyn was hopeful and determined to keep fighting. But in April 2025, scans revealed that her cancer has spread to her lungs. It is now on Stage 4 and she was given 6 months to live since April. Despite undergoing radiation and one session of chemotherapy, her condition worsened, and her medical team decided not to proceed with further chemo. She has now been placed on palliative care, with doctors focusing on pain management.

Most recently, her doctor has recommended that she enroll in the Hospice program—a compassionate care service designed to support patients in their final stage of illness. This step allows Emilyn to receive specialized care and comfort in the setting of her choice, surrounded by her loved ones.

This news has been incredibly painful for all of us, especially for her loving husband and two young daughters, who are doing their best to get through this very difficult time together. Emilyn is no longer able to work full time, and her husband is doing everything he can to care for her and support their family of four on his own by having double jobs working Monday to Sunday.

As they prepare for what lies ahead, we are once again reaching out for your support—through prayers, sharing this campaign, and any financial assistance you feel led to give. Funds will now go toward:

-Home care needs

-Living expenses and bills during this time of lost income

-Transition planning

We are still believing for God’s miraculous intervention. Emilyn’s faith remains strong, and she is surrounded by a community of people who love her deeply. But we also want to lift the practical burdens off her family as much as possible, so they can focus on cherishing every moment together.
