My sister Emily and husband Aaron have two precious daughters, Maggie(6) and Chloe(3). They reside in Mt. Pleasant, IA. Emily has been extremely sick for some time now. Desperately searching for answers with the help of many Drs. and Specialists.

Friday, January 21st, she became unresponsive and was transported to The University of Iowa via Air Care to Neurology ICU. During incubation, her oxygen supply was depleted before her emergency surgery. Therefore leaving brain damage. She has yet to wake up and is fighting to stay alive. With the steadfast team of Specialists and people like you. Please consider helping aid her family during this horrific time.

Emily has just been diagnosed with a rare, life-threatening condition called: Granulomatosis with Polyangiitis:

It causes inflammation of the blood vessels. It affects the ears, nose, throat, lungs, and kidneys. Blood flow to organs and tissues may be reduced, causing damage. Can be treated but may remain for life.

Humbly ask for continued prayers: That her brain swelling and injuries retract. And she becomes conscious.

We just need her to wake up for her babies and the community that's behind her.
