Emily has been struggling with a chronic pain illness known as endometriosis which for those who do not know what it is a disorder in which tissue that normally lines the uterus grows outside the uterus.
With endometriosis, the tissue can be found on the ovaries, fallopian tubes or the intestines also cause painful cyst that rupture. She has missed work has had to take time off because her symptoms got so bad she was in pain and sick from her pain. Finally she found a doctor that would operate she had her first surgery March 11th of last year, and is about to undergo her second surgery on March 16th 2020. She thought that it was going to be a similar surgery to her first and hope to end her pain and suffering but as on February 10th 2020 she had learned that she has a lot of precancerous tissue strangling her ovaries and uterus, and that she will be having a full hysterectomy at 22 years old. Due to the fact that her doctor is also excising her endometriosis adhesions and possibly some repair to her bladder and bowel she could be out of work for up to 3 months. For the first 3 weeks or more Emily is going to need her husband home with her at all times as it wont be easy for her to get around or to fully care for their 3 year old son. We all know how easy it is to fall behind on bills and other adult expenses so let's help this family get some stress off their shoulders. Anything helps!
