I know times are tight for everyone, and I truly hate having to ask for help. But I want to stress that support comes in many forms, and every gesture matters.
If a financial donation isn’t possible right now, there are two incredibly powerful ways you can help me get back on my feet:
Share This Post: Please, share this story with your friends, family, and networks. The more people who see it, the greater our chance of reaching the goal. Sharing is just as valuable as donating!
Send a Prayer or Positive Thought: Knowing I have a community behind me sending prayers, positive energy, or healing thoughts is a profound source of strength that keeps me going during the tough days.
On Sept 26, 2025, I had a surgery on my left ankle that has resulted me in not being able to be in work or do any activities for about 4 months. It was a major reconstructive surgery, and the doctors did an incredible job repairing all that they could. The loss of income is the most immediate and terrifying worry. Even with insurance, I’m facing high deductibles, copays for weekly physical therapy sessions and the costs for special equipment. For the next few weeks, simple tasks like grocery shopping, laundry, and even taking care of my animals are nearly impossible. The funds will help cover necessary assistance during this period.
Every dollar, every share, and every prayer gets me one step closer to putting my own two feet back on the ground, literally and figuratively. Thank you for being a part of my healing journey.
If you are not comfortable with GoFundMe, I do have a Cash App: $Emilywells1230
With all my heart,
