Please meet Emily and Trey. They are about to welcome a new baby girl into the world. But they have fallen on hard times.
My little sister Emily is a strong and amazing person and She is the most amazing mother to her daughter Emberly. At the age 16, she was diagnosed with retinitis pigmentosa and was told she would be blind by the age of 18. Now at the age of 24, she has beaten the odds and still has some of her sight. She was recently diagnosed with cataracts and due to her pregnancy the pressure in her eyes has gotten worse. She is unable to work due to this diagnosis.
Trey has been an amazing hard worker and provider. He did an amazing thing and stepped into the role of being Emberlys daddy as well as expecting his first child Jazzy at the end of June. At the age of 25, he has recently been told he is in need of surgery May 18, 2021 due to newly diagnosed testicular cancer. He will be out of work at minimum 6-8 weeks. He could be out longer. Due to the FMLA his work provides is only for job security and he has limited sick leave.
They are in need for some acts of kindness and reaching out to help them through this turbulent time.
