Help Emily Suess afford Brain Cancer Treatment

I was diagnosed with inoperable brain cancer in 2017. The tumor disabled me and left me with stacks of unpaid medical bills. Now my most recent MRIs show the tumor is growing again and doctors are recommending more chemotherapy. Which will mean lots more lab visits and MRIs.



I'm fundraising not just to cover the high costs of chemo, doctors visits, and travel between Urbana, IL and St. Louis, but to make it possible for Dan and I to move so that we can be closer to Siteman Cancer Center and have the support of my family who live only about 30 minutes from the hospital.

This means prepping our home to sell it, hiring movers, and getting help with things like cleaning and food preparation while I undergo treatment again as well as making sure our new place to stay (likely my Mom's basement) is ready and accessible--not just for my current disability but in anticipation of new challenges to come.

We also have a significant amount of credit card debt from my adjuvant chemo in 2017 and 2018 and are very near our credit limit. If we can pay that down and have some wiggle room for incidentals, it would go a long way in giving us some peace of mind.

Any kind of support you can offer is so appreciated, whether it's $1 or $100. I know things are tight financially for lots of people, and even just sharing this fundraiser with your friends and family would mean so much to me and Dan.
