Help Emily (Card) Smith with her Kidney Transplant

Where do I start, it's been a long 8 + years start of the journey knowing I needed to have a transplant at the age of 23 I'm now 34 with Stage5 End Stage Renal Failure! It was a hard pill to swallow, but having a new baby on the way I wasn't as worried at the time. I did what any parent would for their child ! But over the next couple years I tried my best to eat right and be healthy.. I made it to 25 when I finally needed to start Dialysis! Over the next couple years sickness and surgeries I swear I had 12 surgeries in a year. I finally was able to get my Fistula in my arm up and working so I no longer needed the port in my chest. I did home hemo dialysis which helped out a lot when we had a lot going on it was nice to make my own schedule. I also tried peritoneal dialysis which is a tube in the stomach to help remove fluids from my body, but I didn't even make it a week with the tube and I got peritonitis which is a bad infection that caused me to be in hospital for 2 weeks. (Mind you with 2 children under the age of 5.) But we got throught it. Covid put a damper on my progress but im happy to finally say that I am at the final stretch and I hope to see the light at the end very soon.. I have done all my testing and I took all the classes in order to get onto the transplant list I am at this point waiting to hear that YES I am on the list and Yes I'm at the top.. I have my 8 years in to my 6 years (for my blood type B+) needed to be waiting is well past.. I will be traveling to Beaumont in Detroit. So we as a family will muchly appreciate anything you can do to help us !!!  Whether it be to share the page or to even donate 1$ the money will go to hotel for after transplant gas medical bills or whatever else we are not prepared for...
