Hello friends and family,

My name is Russell, and I am reaching out to ask for your support to help my wife, Emily, and me return to her home in Uganda. Emily left Uganda five years ago to pursue her education and follow her calling here in the U.S. During this time, she has worked tirelessly to serve our community and build a life with me in Tulsa.

However, those years away have come with sacrifices. When Emily’s beloved grandmother passed away, she wasn’t able to return home for the burial. Now, her family is gathering for her grandmother’s final funeral rites, and it would mean the world for Emily to be there to honor her memory and reconnect with her loved ones.

As her husband, I want nothing more than to be by her side during this meaningful journey, supporting her as she finds closure and celebrates the legacy of a woman who was so special to her.

In addition to reuniting with her family, Emily and I feel called to share the gospel during this trip. We plan to bring children’s Bibles to bless the community and plant seeds of hope and faith.
