This is the original and largest event of its kind, bringing together thousands of young performers, educators, and theatre professionals from around the world for a weekend of musical theatre celebration. Held annually in Atlanta, Georgia, the festival features adjudicated performances, workshops, and showcases of new musical adaptations. Notable participants have included Broadway stars and representatives from Disney Theatrical Group .I am Pleased to say I was one of the 5 kids chosen from perth, and all of them (except me) are 17+, I’m so excited to join the Aussie all-stars in 2026. If you don’t know what The Aussie All-Stars is, The Aussie All-Stars is an elite performance group organised by Travel Gang, in collaboration with Music Theatre International Australasia and the Junior Theatre Festival (JTF) Australia. This program offers exceptional young Australian musical theatre performers a unique opportunity to train and perform in the United States. Each year, a select group of students aged 10 to 17 is chosen through auditions held at JTF Australia. These talented individuals embark on a comprehensive performing arts tour across the U.S., which includes:
New York City: Participants engage in intensive rehearsals at renowned studios like Ripley Grier Studios, attend Broadway shows, and participate in workshops led by industry professionals.
Atlanta: The group represents Australia at the Junior Theatre Festival, the world’s largest youth musical theatre festival, performing pieces developed during their New York rehearsals.
