Help Emily represent Antigua & Barbuda in Sailing

Hello everyone, my name is Emily Gaillard, I am from the beautiful twin Island of Antigua & Barbuda. I am an Optimist Sailor at our Antigua Yacht Club. Sailing since I was 11 years old.

In February 2021, you assisted me to go to Italy-Lake Garda, for my first Optimist World Championship, and for that I'm forever grateful. In July 2022, I also represented Antigua & Barbuda in the Optimist World Championship in Turkey-Bodrum.

I couldn't ask for better support from everyone and making this happen for me. I have been pretty active in my sailing and I took part in a recent regatta to qualify to represent Antigua & Barbuda for the Caribbean Dinghy Championship (CDC) in St. Maarten, which will be held from October 20th to 23rd Oct 2022. Following that, I have been selected to represent Antigua and Barbuda in the Optimist North American Championship in the Bahamas from November 10th to 20th November 2022.

I am very excited to compete, however, competing comes with huge expenses. This is why I am asking for financial assistance for my journey to St. Maarten and the Bahamas to compete against Top Optimist Sailors.
