Hello all! My name is Nancy Chang and I am a good friend of Emily Harris. I am setting up this fundraiser to help support Emily during her current medical treatment.

Emily started experiencing acute symptoms in mid August and after a whirlwind of doctors appointments and specialists, by mid October had underwent a significant abdominal surgery. She has been receiving excellent care from an oncology team at UCSF where she was hospitalized for 5 days and has been recovering at home for the past month. Based on findings from her operation, it is determined that she is still required to undergo further procedures and medical treatment.

We are reaching out to friends and supportive people in our community to help raise funds to support Emily with the many unexpected medical bills and daily living expenses during this time. She is currently unable to work and had no opportunity to save or prepare due to the acute nature of her medical situation.
