Help Emily Rebuild Her Life After Domestic Violence
After ten years of marriage and enduring months of gaslighting and emotional abuse, Emily survived a brutal assault by her husband, who will remain unnamed. She’s now fighting to rebuild a safe, stable home for her four children — and she needs our help.
Hi everyone,
I’m posting this on behalf of my close friend Emily White, a mother of four who has endured unthinkable trauma. After ten years of marriage, her husband turned violent — brutally assaulting her twice in one weekend. Long before the violence, he had spent months gaslighting and emotionally manipulating Emily — trying to convince her that she was “crazy” or “unstable” whenever she questioned his lies and infidelity. It was calculated psychological abuse that broke her spirit long before he ever raised a hand to her.
The trauma of that final night and everything leading up to it was devastating. Emily was hospitalized as she tried to recover and protect her children. Since that night, he has used false accusations to manipulate the system against Emily, including contacting DCF and slandering her to authorities in an attempt to take her children. Despite these attacks, Emily has fought tirelessly to protect her kids, maintain their home, and keep their lives as stable as possible.
He has also refused to contribute financially, leaving Emily to shoulder all household bills while rebuilding a safe, stable environment for her children. Despite these challenges, Emily is standing tall — working to heal, return to work, and provide security and love for her four children.
This GoFundMe will help Emily:
- Keep her home so her children have a stable place to live
- Cover essentials like food, utilities, and childcare
- Pay legal fees to finalize her divorce and protect her children
Every donation — large or small — makes a real difference in helping her rebuild from the ground up.
Emily didn’t choose this battle, but she’s fighting it with extraordinary courage. Let’s show up for her and her children the way she’s always shown up for everyone else. ❤️
