Our sweet Emily was recently diagnosed with Ewing Sarcoma, a rare and aggressive form of cancer. She’s ready to take on this fight with the same strength, courage, and positivity that she brings to everything in life.

After many tests and appointments, Emily met with her care team in Salt Lake City and received her treatment plan. Her PET scan showed a few small areas of concern in addition to the main tumor. While it’s not certain whether the disease has spread, her doctors are confident that the chemotherapy will target everything in her body, wherever it may be.

Starting in early December, Emily will begin an intense 8-month chemotherapy regimen. Treatments will alternate every two weeks between 2-day and 5-day hospital stays, with short breaks in between.

As you can imagine, this journey will be physically, emotionally, and financially overwhelming. Emily and her family must travel 2½ hours to Salt Lake City for treatments (and that’s if the winter roads are clear and free of snow and ice). Between hospital stays, time away from work, and these long trips, the expenses add up quickly.

Funds raised will go directly toward medical bills, travel expenses, and other costs related to Emily’s care - helping to ease the financial burden so she and her family can focus on what matters most: healing and recovery.

Emily is one of the strongest and kindest people you’ll ever meet - a devoted wife, mommy to little Jett, daughter, and friend who lights up every room she walks into. She’s always been the first to show up for others, and now it’s our turn to show up for her.
