On July 4th, Emily lost her dad, Keith Marlon Shook Jr., unexpectedly. While trying to process that kind of heartbreak, she’s also been left with the full weight of handling everything on her own—emotionally and financially.

Keith didn’t have life insurance. There was no savings set aside for final expenses, and now Emily is doing everything she can to make sure her dad is laid to rest with dignity and care. Cremation, arrangements, and all the details that come with saying goodbye—it’s all fallen on her shoulders.
