Hi I’m Emily and I am a 13 year old transgender girl living in the Uk. I have been subjected to transphobic bullying and two transphobic physical assaults since September of last year all by boys in my year. Before all of this happened I was a happy, confident kid I enjoyed school and worked hard on LGBT+ visibility at my school.

Now I am completely different the bullying has changed me, I have lost my confidence and at the moment I struggle to leave the house.

i no longer feel safe or happy in the school system because they keep failing to protect me. I will be homeschooled for the remainder of my secondary school education and I hope that instead of feeling like I am missing out it can be an opportunity for me to learn things I wouldn’t of had the opportunity to learn at school. So I need to raise money for equipment, field trips and extra curricular activities. Thank you for reading my story.
