Help Emily go to Junior Worlds

Hi, my name is Emily Nguyen. I am an Australian Karate Athlete and have recently been selected to represent Australia at the WKF Cadet, Junior and U21 World Championships 2022. This event will be held in Konya, Turkey, from the 26th to the 30th of October. 

I have been doing karate for over ten years and competing for around eight years. I have represented my state nationally since I began competing and competed internationally, representing Australia three times. In 2018, competed at the Oceania Cup in New Zealand and the Pacific Cup in New Caledonia; I came home with a silver and gold medal, respectively. This year, I competed at the Oceania Championships in June and came home with a gold medal. I am currently 8th in the world rankings.

Unfortunately, karate athletes are not funded by any means and are to self-fund for these competitions. This includes the cost of travel, accommodation, registration fees and the official team uniform.

All support towards me representing Australia at the WKF Cadets, Junior and U21 World Championships will be greatly appreciated :)
