Help Emily Get a Life-Saving Liver Transplant

This is my best friend Angie's daughter Emily. She's a smart, funny, sweet, and hard-working young woman. Very recently, she became very ill and had to go to the ER. She was diagnosed with a severe liver disease and is in need of a transplant. She is currently at Northwestern Hospital, and has been meeting with the transplant team.

Post surgery, she will have to stay near Chicago for an extended time, as she recovers and her doctors make sure they have her health stabilized. Obviously, she is fighting for her life with her Mom by her side. Her longtime boyfriend has to continue to work and pay the bills here at home. I'm asking for any help you can give, as well as prayers, positive energy, and love to be sent her way. This will be a long and difficult journey but one I'm very, very prayerful she will win.
