Hi,

My name is Alan, and i am trying to raise funds to help my daughter Emily get over a very rough spot financially. Emily gave birth to little Christopher on November the 1st, and he was several weeks premature. As a result, he wasnt able to go home with Mom and Dad, but is still in the NNICU at Kingston General Hospital. Therefore, Emily has to travel about an hour to the hospital to see him.And this is where her problem is; about a week ago her car just died. The garage tells us that it is not repairable. Unfortunately, her 2019 Hyumdai still has around 2 years of payments left. She went on medical leave when she was admitted to the hospital, and she is home now, but still waiting for funds from EI for maternity leave

This fundraiser is not for another car; Emily's mother and I have some savings that we can use for a used vehicle. What I am hoping to accomplish with this fundraiser is to help remove or lessen the burden of 2 more years of car payments for a car that cant be fixed. Any and all donations will go to removing this debt. I want her to be able to focus on Christopher without worrying about how she can make these payments. I would really love to see her young family get started without this crushing debt.
