Help Emily and Ryanne Find Safety in Seattle

Donation protected
Hi,
We're Emily and Ryanne, and we're asking for your help. We will be forced from our home on January 31st, and with the incoming Trump administration, as trans women we no longer feel safe staying in Indiana. We're trying to move to Seattle - a city that's much safer and more friendly to people like us. For us, Seattle represents more than just a new home; it represents safety, security, and the freedom to be ourselves.

We’re working hard to make this move happen, but we need your help. Between some necessary maintenance to help our car make the trip, moving costs (like gas, food, and hotels), and our first month’s rent, we need to raise a total of about $3,000. I'm working as a GrubHub driver, but it’s not going to be enough to cover everything. Emily is currently unemployed but plans to find work once we’re in Seattle, where the higher minimum wage will make things more manageable for us long-term.

We can’t do this alone. Your support would mean the world to us. Whether it’s a donation, sharing our story, or simply sending words of encouragement, you’d be helping us take the steps toward a safer, brighter future.

With love and gratitude,
Emily & Ryanne
