Hello Friends!

My name is Kayla, and I’m starting this GoFundMe on behalf of Emily and Madi to begin their parenting journey. I have been so lucky to get to know Emily and Madi over the last several years and have seen them through so many stages of their lives including grad school, moving states, navigating jobs, and getting married. I cannot wait to see them in this next stage as parents. I would like to do whatever I can to help for them to achieve that dream!

For those of you that don’t know Emily and Madi directly, they are a same-sex couple who currently live in Minnesota after meeting in Florida and are building a life together. They’ve been together for just over four years and were married a year and a half ago.

One of their biggest dreams has always been to become parents, and they are now taking meaningful steps toward starting a family together.

They are currently in the process of family planning and exploring fertility options. While this journey is incredibly exciting, it also comes with significant emotional and financial challenges. Many people don’t realize just how costly fertility treatments can be. Just to give you an idea, based on medical appointments, insurance coverage, and clinic estimates, the average cost to have one child through a fertility clinic ranges from $20,000–$40,000.

Any donation—no matter the amount—will help ease the financial burden and bring Emily and Madi closer to their dream of becoming parents. Your support will go directly toward fertility-related expenses and give them the chance to focus on what truly matters: building their family.
