Hi, my name is Rebekah and I am fundraising for my sweet Auntie Belinda and cousin Emily!

 

Belinda is a Cancer nurse of 30+ years and wonderful single mom. She has helped and been nationally recognized for her compassionate work with countless patients and fellow nursing staff over the course of her career.

 

My aunt never thought she would one day be on the other side of healthcare. About 5 years ago, she was diagnosed with her first cancer and survived after a long fight. However, only a few years later, she developed Secondary Leukemia as a result of the treatment for her first cancer. She had to undergo even more chemotherapy and a bone marrow transplant, which is life-threatening and has serious after effects.

 

Her workplace is no longer able to support her and her income and health insurance have been taken away, despite still needing frequent medical treatments!

 

Emily has grown up with her mom being in and out of the hospital and has been brave during her mom’s battles with Cancer. She is starting school to become a teacher and needs our support!

 

 

The goals of this fundraiser for Belinda and Emily are to help with overwhelming medical expenses, continue Belinda’s life-saving treatments, aid with out of pocket insurance payments, and support my Emily’s college fund.
