Help Emily & Gracie rise from the ashes
Around 4am on September 19th 2019, a construction site on Banister Ln suddenly caught fire. All that lumber fueled a massive 3-alarm fire which spread to trees and, sadly, into Run of The Oaks apartment complex where Gracie Richardson and Emily Lyche were living. Awoken by firefighters they escaped immediately with only their dogs, purses, and the clothes on their backs.
The most IMPORTANT thing is that no one was injured. Emily, Gracie, and Gracie's two dogs made it out alive and we're so incredibly thankful for that. However, our friends have suffered incredible losses: all of their wordly possessions are gone.
Emily and Gracie are incredible, sweet ladies who have such a special bond. Luckily they've cultivated a very loving community of folks eager to help them. These funds will go toward household items, clothing, food, finding new housing, and any other unforseen costs that come along with rebuilding their lives. Please donate what you can; I'm sure every dollar will be put to great use.
Lastly, many sentimental items will be impossible to replace. Outside of the essentials, Emily and Gracie would eventually love new artwork, photos, books, and movies. If you have anything personal and sentimental to share with them, please consider doing so at your leisure.
