Help Emily & Cameron after apartment fire.

Donation protected
On September 20th while my son (Cameron) was at work.  There was a bad grease fire in his apartment and it moved too quickly.  His girlfriend (Emily) ran out and with burned feet, hands, chest, back and face went to each apartment in the building to make sure everyone got out ok.  She was then flown to Harborview Hospital in Seattle for her burns.  Everybody is alive and recovering.  Emily is still in the hospital and still has more days before she can go home.  She will eventually make a full recovery.

Emily has a job but she did not work enough hours for medical insurance.  She will now also be off work for awhile while she continues to heal.  We have found out she does qualify for some assistance and that will help.  Due to flying her to the hospital and being in there for 2-3 weeks.  Her medical bills will be high even with the additional help.

Cameron's primary focus after losing everything has been Emily and her recovery.   He has done what he needed to including going back in to see if anything was recoverable.  He did find a few mementos but really everything was a total loss.  This month he turns 28 and he finds himself starting over.  He knows that the things lost were just items we had sentimental feelings tied to.  Memories live on forever in our thoughts and hearts.  That being said, he will be needing help to get into a new apartment/house and get some things to start living again.

We are all really proud of both these young adults.  Instead of letting something so catastrophic taint their future outlook, they have found together that they have a new adventure in life.  A fresh start so to speak.  Both Emily and Cameron have incredible support systems but unfortunately with the virus situation it is financially hard for many to help.

If you would like to help Cameron start over and help Emily with medical bills/expenses, your donation will be forever appreciated.
