Seven years ago, Tim learned he had ALS. For these past seven years, Tim fought the disease, educated as many people as possible, and loved Emily tremendously. Emily was Tim's primary and, mostly, his only caregiver. Although, Paco gets huge credit for emotionally supporting both Tim and Emily.

This past year, many of you provided support to hire UB nursing students a few hours a week. Your gifts allowed Tim and Emily to spend quality time together.

Tim recently passed away. Unfortunately, the impact of his ALS will continue for some time. Emily hasn't been able to work during these years and now Tim's disability checks have stopped.

Please help Emily cover the cost of Tim's celebration of life, remaining health care costs, and help her sustain herself while she searches for her next professional journey.
