Hi, my name is Sandra Sakauye and I’m fundraising for Emilio Lopez. Over the last couple of months Emilio has been in and out of the hospital due to problems in his spine. He ended up having a number of issues with his thoracic spine, such as a narrowed spinal canal and his vertebral disc sliding into his spinal cord significantly affecting his every day life. Emilio had spinal surgery and things were looking up until he suddenly was unable to move his legs. His doctor and surgeon determined his spinal cord injury is so extensive that he might be paralyzed in his legs permanently. He is currently in an intensive rehabilitation facility hoping to get stronger and navigate life in a completely different direction than he had anticipated. Due to Emilio being in the hospital for a long time, medical expenses are adding up and he is unable to work. Emilio, I, and his family would greatly appreciate any contribution towards his medical expenses and bills.
