Help Emilio Stay Home!!

Hello, my name is Brianna and I am fundraising in hopes of keeping my grandfather home.

I wanted to reach out and express my gratitude for your continued support and involvement in Emilio's journey.

As you may know, Emilio was diagnosed with PSP, a form of Parkinson's, in 2020. Unfortunately, the disease progressed rapidly, leading him to stop working at the barbershop in 2021. This has been a challenging time for him, as he has dedicated over 40 years to his craft, and his customers have become like family.

In 2022, Emilio spent over a year in a nursing home, which was a difficult experience for him. However, we were able to bring him back home and provide him with PCA care. For almost a year now, he has been comfortable at home, receiving assistance with bathing, toileting, lifting, and feeding from PCAs.

Recently, we received the heartbreaking news that Emilio's insurance was terminated on October 8th. We are now facing a desperate situation, trying to cover his home care expenses to prevent him from returning to a nursing home where he was poorly treated.

In light of this, I wanted to kindly ask if you would be able to contribute anything towards Emilio's care while we work on resolving his insurance situation. Your donation, no matter the amount, would truly make a significant difference and be greatly appreciated.
