Hi, my name is Emilio, and I wanted to introduce myself and share why I started this fundraiser.

I’m raising money to learn how to ride a dirtbike in honor of my friend. We used to talk a lot about trying new things together, and at one point, I asked him when are you gonna surf and he told me he would learn to surf if I learned how to ride. It became one of those plans we always said we’d get around to. He isn’t here to do that anymore, but I still want to follow through on the promise we made and do my part.

My goal is to raise $5,500 to cover a safe dirtbike, the proper safety gear, and the basic costs that come with getting started and maintaining it. I’m also working and saving my own money and taking on jobs to contribute myself. I’m willing to help with things like yard work, cleaning, moving help, or other tasks you may need done.

This means a lot to me because it’s a way of remembering him and carrying something forward that we talked about doing together.
